ey fam, welcome back! If you thought the last episode was intense, Episode 4 is about to crank things up. Secrets are spilling, shadows are moving, and Amara's world is changing fast. Buckle up—it's going to be a ride.
Amara didn't sleep that night. How could she? Every creak of the floor, every sweep of the rain against the window made her flinch.
Kene. The name rang in her head like a bell she couldn't silence. Who was he to her mother? And why did her mum sound so... afraid?
She sat cross-legged on her bed, clutching the phone in her lap. Her mum's last message replayed in her mind: Don't look into his eyes.
Her phone screen was blank now. No new messages. No calls. Just silence.
Until—
Ding.
A new text appeared.
Unknown Number: "You're stronger than she thinks. Don't let fear blind you."
Amara's breath caught. He was still out there. Watching.
Her phone buzzed again—this time a voice message. Hesitant, she pressed play.
The sound was distorted, like wind rushing through trees. But beneath it, a man's voice whispered:
"Amara... do you remember the garden by the old church? You were so small, chasing butterflies... you laughed when I lifted you."
Amara's throat tightened. She had no memory of that. None. But the way he spoke—it was like he knew her childhood better than she did.
"No," she muttered, shaking her head. "He's lying."
Suddenly—BANG!
Something slammed against her balcony door. Amara shot up, heart racing. Through the curtains, she saw a silhouette—tall, still, waiting.
Her phone buzzed again.
Unknown Number: "You can't hide forever. The truth is in your blood."
She staggered back, clutching her chest.
Then—her phone rang. Mum again.
"Amara, listen to me carefully." Her mother's voice was ragged, urgent. "Kene... he's not just a man. He's tied to the covenant I broke years ago. You were never supposed to see him again."
"What covenant?!" Amara shouted, her voice cracking.
Her mum's silence was deafening. Finally, she whispered:
"He's the reason your father disappeared."
The call ended.
Amara dropped the phone, her body trembling. Her father—gone all these years. And now, this stranger tied to it all.
On the balcony, the silhouette shifted closer. The glass shuddered under his touch.
Amara whispered through clenched teeth, "What are you, Kene?"
The lights flickered. The storm howled louder.
And for the first time, she heard him speak—not through the phone, but outside her very window.
Low. Calm. Unshakable.
"Your blood remembers me... even if your mind doesn't."
Amara froze, unable to breathe. The glass began to crack under his hand.
And then—darkness swallowed the room.
