I felt a mix of emotions as I read the letter. There was sadness, anger, and curiosity, but most of all, there was hope.

I looked up at the man in the black suit. "Thank you," I said, my voice barely above a whisper

He nodded and turned to leave. "Be careful," he said and handed me a business card.

I watched him go, my mind racing with questions

I went back to the launching hall, and just a few minutes later, I received a call from Mrs Judith asking me to come straight to her office when the launching was over.

After the launching, I walked into her office, and she greeted me with a warm smile. "Zara, congratulations! You did an amazing job at the book launch today. I'm so proud of you."

I smiled, feeling a sense of relief and accomplishment. But her expression quickly turned serious as she noticed my face wasn't as bright as she expected after such a successful event.

"Hey, what's wrong?" She asked, her voice tinged with concern. "You look like something's bothering you."

I hesitated for a moment, unsure of how to share my concerns with her. But her gentle tone put me at ease, and I decided to open up to her.

"I received a letter today," I said, pulling out the envelope from my bag. "It's from...I'm not sure who, but it seems like it's from my mother."

Her expression changed from concern to surprise as she took the letter from me. "Tell me more," she said, her eyes scanning the letter.

I took a deep breath and shared the story with Judith, telling her about the mysterious letter and the address. She listened attentively, her expression growing more serious with each passing moment.

As I finished speaking, she nodded thoughtfully. "Zara, I think we need to be careful here. And we need to let mother superior know about this.”

I nodded, feeling a sense of gratitude towards her. "I think so too.”

She put a reassuring hand on my shoulder. "We'll figure it out together, don't worry too much.”

She brought out her phone and called mother superior, told her about it and she passed the phone to me.

“My dear, I know about the letter, your mother came to see me a few days ago. She really wants to reunite with you now.” Mother superior said.

I wasn't surprised to hear that she knows because they've been in contact for a long time.

“Do you think it's a good idea? What about her family?” I asked, my voice barely above a whisper

“Don't worry about that, she just wants to meet you in person.” She assured me.

We talked for a while and ended the call. Mrs Judith offered to drop me off at the address to be on a safer side.
