As I settled into my new role at the media company, I felt a sense of excitement and purpose. The work was challenging, but I was determined to learn and grow. Mrs Judith became a mentor to me, offering guidance and support as I navigated the industry

The days turned into weeks, and I found myself growing more confident in my abilities. Judith's company was a hub of creativity and innovation, and I was thrilled to be a part of it.

One day, as I was working on a project, Mrs Judith called me into her office. "Zara, I have some exciting news," she said, her eyes sparkling. "I've been approached by a prominent publishing house, and they're interested in working with us to publish a book on women's empowerment. I think you'd be perfect to lead this project."

I felt a surge of excitement and gratitude. This was an opportunity of a lifetime, and I was determined to make it happen.

With her guidance, I worked tirelessly to bring the project to life. We assembled a team of talented writers, designers, and editors, and together, we created a book that would inspire and empower women around the world.

As the project neared completion, I couldn't help but think about my mother and the sacrifices she had made for me. I wondered if she had ever imagined that her daughter would one day be working on a project like this. The more I think about her, the more I want to meet her. But I can't forget my promise to the mother superior not to look for her first until she approaches me first.

The book's launch was a huge success, and it received critical acclaim. Mrs Judith was thrilled, and she praised me for my hard work and dedication.

As I looked out at the crowd of women who had gathered to celebrate the book's launch, I felt a sense of pride and accomplishment. I knew that this was just the beginning of my journey, and I was excited to see what the future held.

Mrs Judith approached me, a smile on her face. "Nneoma, you're a natural," she said. "I think it's time we talked about making you a permanent part of the team

I smiled, feeling a sense of gratitude and belonging. I knew that I had found my place in the world, and I was excited to see what the future held.

But as I looked out at the crowd, I couldn't shake off the feeling that I was being watched. I scanned the room, but I didn't see anyone suspicious.

Suddenly, I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around, and my heart skipped a beat.

I saw a man dressed in a black suit standing before me. He seemed out of place among the crowd.

I felt a shiver run down my spine as he approached me. “Can I talk to you in private?” he asked, his voice low and professional.

I followed him to a quiet room, my heart racing with curiosity and fear. "Who are you?" I asked, trying to keep my voice steady

"I'm here to deliver a message from your mother," he said, handing me an envelope. "She wanted you to have this."

I took the envelope, my hands trembling as I opened it. Inside, I found a letter and an address.

The letter was brief, but it spoke volumes. "My dear," it read. "I've been watching you from afar, and I'm so proud of the strong, and capable woman you've become. I know I wasn't there for you when you needed me most, but I want you to know that I love you more than words can express. I'd like to meet with you in person, but I want to do it on my terms. Please come to the address below at your earliest convenience. The young man who delivered this letter will give you a business card, you can ask him to bring you when you're ready.”
