Chapter FOUR

CHAPTER FOUR: HAPPY ENDING?

PRESENT DAY 1st June 2020 "I can't believe You fainted in class" Teefah Muttered under her breath, We were in one of the school clinic's female ward, " I was Soo scared , I thought I had lost you!" I did the unexpected, I laughed, I mean who laughs after such a heart warming talk! " I'm sorry!!! I Muttered, he must have been so handsome for my poor heart to handle" saying that I couldn't even look at her, She knew I wasn't okay, and was looking at me strangely, and Finally asked me "Are u okay?" To every normal person, it was a simple question, but to me and my best friend,it was a whole lot, and I found myself shaking my head, " you know you have me right? If you ever need to talk about anything, and I mean anything, I'm always here! I nodded and hugged her, I was already crying!! I needed to say something, but my throat was constricted, I took a deep breath and hugged her again hard! " It was that day, the day you found me naked,tired,lost and afraid, it all started that day" I heard myself saying! My best friend didn't say anything, maybe she was scared if she did, I wouldn't be able to say anything, " I lost everything" I continued" they killed my parents, I was Raped and I killed someone', Remembering who I saw in class, I sniffed, I mean I thought I did", I wanted to say something, to tell you,  but I couldn't, the words just wouldn't come out, I didn't want to remember so I kept quiet, I said as I told her everything, not leaving one word or sentence out, We were both crying now, The emotions too big for us to handle, me crying for all I have endured these past years and Teefah crying because of me, it was really something, she hugged me again, surprisingly I felt relief, a whole lot different than I've ever felt before, I felt lighter, But the next sentence Teefah made had me crawling back to my fear," we need to go to the police, They need to be apprehended, They need to suffer for all they have done, I was shaking my head before I could even say anything, I couldn't go!! I can't handle it all, even after three long years!

" Wow! This house is huge!!!" I heard my best friend exclaimed in awe as we entered the living Room, how she made me agree to coming here is still beyond me, but she did, arriving at where had always been my home the next day, I could feel my heart rate increasing, everywhere I looked, I see myself, I see my parents!!

While I was lost in my own reverie, Teefah was already searching the whole house, looking for things she could find, anything she could use as evidence, I didn't even know what I was doing, I tried to breath! "You have to be strong" I keep telling myself, as I went after my best friend, and finally she found something, a journal, an old one per-say and in that Journal was evey activity my Dad was involved in as a Gang leader, Saw some old pictures too, one which really caught my eyes, a tattoo! My Dad had one, I didn't see it as anything then, but it was starting to make more sense,it was at his back,close to his neck, A shape of a spider but then had this funny twist in the leg, once I asked him about it, he jokingly told me, it was a result of a dare with his friends when he was younger, so why then is the journal saying,every member of that gang has it!! That was enough evidence, I couldn't stay there any longer, I had to leave, so I did ! Dragging my Best friend along with the journal as we rushed straight to the police.
