Chapter 2: The stranger

She begins to experience strange side effects- vivid dreams, heightened senses and an unsettling feeling of being watched.One day, a traveler got lost in the mountains but found his way to the strange town. Lucky enough,the first person he met was Naomi's grandmother who was seated in the front yard with Naomi.She hurriedly welcomed the stranger and offered him a sleepover in her house.

At about 8pm in the night, they were all seated outside when the stranger stood up to go inside. Naomi's grandmother looked at him and said “Never you fall asleep” she warned.

The stranger who didn't understand what she meant went ahead to prepare for the night. Shortly after he dozed off, a black jelly liquid crawled by the walls of the room slowly towards his direction.

Naomi who had felt the presence of the Weaver rushed down to the guest room, on sighting the Weaver she moved closer to the stranger which made the Weaver to disappear due to the presence of the stone.

This incident triggered Dr Taylor as he stared into blank space, his eyes suddenly turned black and his mouth wide opened. He whispered into the air as if he was talking to an invisible being.

He picked up an axe, looked into a mirror and whispered for the second time. Then, the stranger suddenly appeared in the mirror and he pointed the axe at the mirror and laughed in an evil tone. The next morning, the stranger woke up with his clothes covered in blood, out of fear he screamed aloud.

Naomi and her grandmother rushed into the room as soon as they heard him shout. They looked at each other in surprise, knowing that the Weaver couldn't get through him because of Naomi's interference last night.So they wondered what could've gone wrong. Naomi's grandmother was quick enough to realise it was a warning.

They managed to calm the stranger down after explaining what happens in their town when one sleeps at night, out of fear he ran away from the village.As the body count rises, Naomi's investigation becomes a desperate need to save her town. She's hunted by the weaver’s twisted messages scrawled in blood on her walls, jars of water turned into blood.The weaver's victims are found with their eyes carved out, their skin flayed and their minds shattered.Some victims are found mutilated and their bodies twisted in impossible positions
